It has come to our attention that an organization is using The Vancouver Board of Trade’s name and mailing list to promote a speaker’s event in June, which The Board is not associated with, to our members. This is being done without the permission of The Vancouver Board of Trade.

We wish to assure all members that, in respect of your privacy, we do not sell or distribute our membership database to any third party. In addition, The Board has always discouraged any member from abusing our membership directory – a reference guide – by using it for mass marketing purposes.

For members wishing to promote their products or services to fellow members, we administer a member-to-member e-mail service sent only to those members who have agreed to receive member-to-member promotions.
