Labatt generously hosted CYP Members for an opportunity to connect with others and become educated about beer. Labatt’s Beer Institute was the training ground for the event, and regularly hosts local bartenders to learn about various brands and serving techniques. Labatt is a proud member of AB InBev and makes over 50 local and world-renowned beers available to customers across Canada including Budweiser, Stella Artois and Beck’s.

Over 60 young professionals were in attendance to hear from Labatt as they explained the company origins, their dedication to quality, and common beer pairings. The evening was generously sponsored by Alexander Keith’s India Pale Ale and Belgian Beer Giant, Stella Artois. Following the presentation guests learned the 9 step ritual required to serve the best possible glass of Stella Artois. A process worth waiting for as the commercials prove “she is a thing of beauty.”

Once the training portion of the evening was complete, guests had an opportunity to try a number of different ABInBev Brands and make some new connections. Labatt is both a leader in the Canadian beer industry, and a leader when it comes to responsible drinking. Labatt encouraged everyone to enjoy responsibly and offered transportation to anyone that was in need.

We would like to thank Labatt for hosting us and for taking the time to address members of the Company of Young Professionals. Labatt Breweries of Canada has been shaped by more than 160 years of brewing excellence and maintains a strong dedication to exceeding customer expectations. More information about Labatt and the various brands they carry is available at www.labatt.com
