CBC Radio One* hosts the 17th Annual CBC Radio Food Bank Day on Friday, December 5. From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., CBC Radio One’s local and regional programs and hosts will focus on raising awareness, food and dollars for food banks throughout British Columbia.
CBC staffers will take pledge calls on toll-free lines and donations will also be accepted online. All money contributed can be designated to one of the 86 food Bbnks throughout the province. Last year, our listeners raised more than $200,000 for food banks throughout British Columbia.
CBC Radio One will host two live broadcasts on December 5, one at the Pacific Centre in Vancouver and the other at the Royal BC Museum in Victoria. There will be live entertainment and a plethora of donated prizes to inspire food bank donors.

Musical guests The All Stars featuring Caroline Drury, Denzal Sinclaire and Karin Plato
