TELUS and B.C. High School Boys’ Basketball Association sign $260,000, four-year partnership
TELUS will support the B.C. High School Boys’ Basketball Association with a four-year, $260,000 title sponsorship of its annual AAA provincial tournament, starting with this year’s TELUS BC Boys’ AAA Basketball Championships, March 7 to 11 at the PNE Agrodome. The sponsorship also includes the creation of $7,500 in annual scholarships the association will distribute to B.C. basketball athletes each year. More...

Dinosaurs in Gastown exhibit features one of North America's best ever collections of dinosaur fossils and skeletons
Storyeum's popular Dinosaurs in Gastown exhibit will be open during spring break to give schoolchildren and budding archeologists a chance to explore one of North America's best-ever dinosaur exhibits, including two life-size animatronic dinosaurs, prehistoric fossils of reptiles, plants, birds, insects and fish, and 11 complete dinosaur skeletons accompanied by videos explaining how these gigantic creatures lived. Team BMO puts out call for volunteers for Vancouver Marathon
Some 2,000 volunteers are required for the BMO Bank of Montreal Vancouver Marathon on Sunday, May 7, 2006. BMO Bank of Montreal's senior vice president Richard Rudderham will be running on Friday, March 24 to all of BMO’s downtown branches to rally employees to participate in the Marathon, and Team BMO is issuing a challenge to other local businesses and organizations to encourage their employees to participate as volunteers or runners.
