Media Release November 30, 2006, BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum to announce 2007 inductees on December 5
On Tuesday, December 5, 2006, please join us as the 2007 inductees into the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum are announced. Categories to be announced include Athlete, Team, Builder, and Pioneer. Several of the 2007 inductees will be available for interviews and questions. An information kit will also be available for members of the media, with athlete biographies at the media conference. The official induction of these eight individuals and one team will take place on May 31, 2007 at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre. After the media conference, members of the media are invited to join supporters of the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum in their fourth annual Thank You Evening starting at 5 p.m. Many BC Sports Hall of Famers will join supporters of the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum to welcome the newest group to be chosen for induction. Please join us for this exciting announcement and an evening of celebration as we continue to honour the past and inspire the future.
