The BC Sports Hall of Fame displays Hockey Dream Card Collection

BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum
In celebration of the Memorial Cup, the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum is pleased to display the Hockey Dream Card Collection from May 18 through May 31, 2007.

Ever seen a Gordie Howe rookie card? How about Wayne Gretzky? Or Mario Lemieux? Well, now you can — at the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum! The Dream Hockey Card Collection contains every hockey card published in the modern era, 1951 to 1994. Due to space requirements, a small portion of this valuable, unique collection will be on display, so hockey fans can check out over 2,500 original hockey cards from 1951 to 1975.

During their visit to the Hall of Fame, hockey fans can also test their slap shot in our sport simulator, see a Vancouver Canucks jersey from the 1940s, see a game-worn Wayne Gretzky Edmonton Oiler's jersey and... get inspired by the best athletes and teams in B.C.

The BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum honours British Columbia’s teams, builders, athletes, pioneers, and media through 20,000 square feet of exciting exhibits. By "Honouring the Past and Inspiring the Future," the Hall of Fame shares with its visitors the vision of those who achieved their dreams through dedication, talent, and hard work.

Visit the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum in person at Gate "A" of BC Place Stadium (open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), or to learn more, visit online at www.bcsportshalloffame.com.
