2007 Psychologically Healthy Workplace Recognition and Awards Luncheon:

Join us to recognize organizations committed to programs and policies that enhance the quality of the work environment for their employees. The awards recognize companies that have provided exemplary encouragement and opportunities in one of five categories: Employee Involvement, Employee Recognition, Work-Family-Life Balance, Employee Growth & Development, and Health & Safety. Both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations will be recognized for their excellence in these areas.

Faye Wightman will discuss the importance of cultivating psychologically healthy workplaces and the value of philanthropy to overall psychological health and well-being. Research suggests that companies whose workers perceive their employer to be concerned about their well-being are more competitive and tend to retain outstanding employees.
