This year's premier gala dinner looks set to be even grander than last year, when then chairman Frank Borowicz and MC Gloria Makarenko stole the show during the fundraising auction.

This year's prestigious gala dinner will be a Salute Mining in British Columbia in honour of Frank S. Borowicz, QC, immediate past chair of The Vancouver Board of Trade as he is inducted into the Council of Governors.

Special honouree, David Thompson, past deputy chair and CEO of Teck Cominco, will receive a Community Leadership Award.

Proceeds from The Vancouver Board of Trade's 21st annual Governors' Banquet are shared with The Vancouver Board of Trade Foundation and the Leaders of Tomorrow Mentorship Program®.

Dress code: Black tie with miniature medals.
