Members' Reception at University Women’s Club of Vancouver at Hycroft

The University Women’s Club of Vancouver at Hycroft is delighted to invite Vancouver Board of Trade members to an exclusive evening at the beautiful historic Hycroft mansion in Shaughnessy on Wednesday, March 11.

Enjoy the Edwardian elegance of Hycroft while savoring culinary samplings from our select caterers: The Butler Did It Catering Co., Culinary Capers Catering, Emelle’s Catering Ltd. and The Lazy Gourmet. 

The University Women’s Club of Vancouver is a private club of dynamic women with post-secondary education from around the world.  Members can expand their networks and meet remarkable women representing a wide range of ages, professions and personal experiences. Whether you wish to develop leadership skills, learn about new issues, advocate for change, or nurture your creative side, you will find all these opportunities at the Club. New or long time friendships can be enjoyed through events like summer BBQs, social receptions, cabaret nights, fashion shows, guest speakers, gallery openings, wine appreciation, Pilates, ballroom dancing and many more entertaining events focused on fun and fellowship. 

The Club hosts a variety of events throughout the year open to the public including the Hycroft Lecture by renowned speakers, Lunar New Year celebration and the famous Christmas at Hycroft.

Hycroft’s heritage elegance makes a special and unique venue for weddings, corporate receptions and meetings, private celebrations, lectures and recitals. The venue also provides an exceptional backdrop for movies and photo shoots.

Please note:   Parking available on McRae Avenue, The Crescent and adjacent streets. Car pooling is also encouraged.

**As a courtesy to our host who is providing refreshments, advance registration is required.
Cancellations must be received by 12:00 p.m. NOON Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Registration closes at 6 p.m. Please arrive before 6pm for the host’s welcome remarks and to ensure that you are checked in at registration desk.
Members who fail to cancel or arrive after 6 p.m. will be charged a $12 administration fee.
