Spirit of Vancouver® invites you to our annual Spirit of Giving luncheon on-board the ms Ryndam to experience the incredible hospitality and service of Holland America, and hear from our special guest speaker, Jake Kerr as he shares what the "spirit of giving" means to him.

Jake is a recipient of the Order of Canada and the Order of British Columbia in recognition of his significant contributions to the province and the country. In October 2000, he received an Honorary Doctorate of Laws Degree from Simon Fraser University. In addition to being the Co-Owner and Managing Partner of the Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club, Jake is a Director of the Bank of Nova Scotia and Chancellor of the Emily Carr University of Art + Design.

A brief tour of the ship will precede lunch. Enter at the Cruise Ship Terminal Level in Canada Place.

Due to the nature of this event, we have a few special requests:

• Advance booking is required. Tickets will only be sold until June 11, 2009 and no cancellations after Thursday, June 11, 2009;
• When purchasing your ticket(s), please provide the legal name (NOTE: NAME MUST MATCH THAT ON GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID), date of birth and citizenship for each guest;
• Our allotted time to board the ms Ryndam is limited. Please plan to arrive at the Cruise Ship Terminal Level by 10 a.m. sharp;
• As each guest will need to clear customs and ship security, please bring photo identification (passport or valid driver's license).

IMPORTANT: When purchasing tickets online, you will be asked to provide the legal name, date of birth (mm/dd/yy) & citizenship of you and all of your guests.  No cancellations after Thursday, June 11, 2009.
