Enthusiasm for Gayle Hallgren-Rezac and Judy Thomson’s new kind of networking had women clamouring for the microphone to take the floor at the Women’s Leadership Circle’s (WLC) inaugural All Access Networking event.

Members of the 1,800-strong WLC had a chance to meet other members and the WLC Advisory Board at the program’s designated “clubhouse” – the newly renovated Terminal City Club.

As a sponsor of the program, along with founding gold sponsor Coast Capital Savings, Terminal City is giving all WLC members a $2,500 saving on its membership entrance fee to the central, private business club offering a fitness centre, 25-metre lap pool, saunas, squash and state-of-the-art meeting rooms.

After exploring the benefits of memorable tribal introductions, Hallgren-Rezac and Thomson, Shepa Learning executives and co-authors of Work the Pond! Use the Power of Positive Networking to Leap Forward in Work and Life, set some animated networking discussion going at each table; they soon had guests networking by microphone across the room as “something you always wanted to do” was matched up with those who had done it.

Things livened up as the microphone could not move around quick enough.

Networking continued even after the event had ended.

...and noise levels reflected all the tribal introductions that were going on.
