There was the usual buzz in the air at the fun Women's Leadership Circle®'s (WLC) ALL ACCESS NETWORKING event held at the WLC clubhouse - The Terminal City Club - definitely one of the best networking events in town!

Gayle Hallgren-Rezac and Judy Thomson, Shepa Learning Company and co-authors, Work The Pond!, worked their usual magic to dispel all those "networking blues."

The volume of discussions at packed lunch tables rose higher and higher as people shared their worst fear overcome and their fears still left to conquer, along with the benefits of leaving their regular comfort zone. As Eleanor Roosevelt once said: "You must do the things you think you cannot do."

The ethos of truly Positive Networking®—steering clear of the purely transactional and thinking what you can do for others—came to the fore when Susan Davis introduced herself to the crowd as an entrepreneur starting her own branding business, Haymaker Creative. Within minutes, a volunteer donated free business cards and another volunteered free graphic design! See photos below.
