Thriving and healthy oceans are vital to our planet and communities. Around the world and here at home, there is increasing attention to the protection and environmental sustainability of our oceans. From microplastics to GHG emissions and warming temperatures our ecosystems are sensitive and in need of protection.
The current health crisis is providing an opportunity for businesses to kick start their sustainability agendas, tap into new technologies and explore innovative options for tackling an expanding range of environmental challenges.
The economic prosperity of our region hinges on our waterways and ocean. How can science and industry be part of the solution and address the global crisis? What local initiatives are protecting our waters and marine life here at home?
