It is well known that supporting an inclusive workplace improves company culture, drives bottom-line results and innovation, and makes for happier teams. However, building inclusive workplaces starts from the recruitment and onboarding processes, which can still pose challenges for newcomers and employers alike.
The Immigrant Employment Council of BC (IEC-BC) has many programs and resources for employers to support their inclusive hiring and workforce development efforts, including this featured program, ASCEND for Employees. This event is for employers wishing to better support internationally trained professionals and equity-seeking employees. ASCEND focus areas include navigating workplace culture, building confidence and leadership skills, effective communication, and advancing their careers in Canada.
Join us for this free online session to learn more about ASCEND for Employees and get a preview of the program content, all available to employers at no charge.
Speakers to be announced.
