The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority has a federal public interest mandate to enable Canada's trade through the Port of Vancouver—Canada's largest port. The port authority works collaboratively with terminal operators, supply chain partners and government to ensure Canadians and businesses can reliably access world markets, whether it's to export high-value Canadian products or import the goods families and businesses rely on every day.

Woodfibre LNG is developing the world’s first net zero LNG export facility, located near Squamish, British Columbia. Regulated by Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), the project reflects a new standard for Indigenous oversight and environmental responsibility. With construction set for completion by the end of 2027, Woodfibre LNG will supply responsibly produced Canadian LNG to global markets.
