Trade Accelerator Program- Indigenous Focused Cohort

Apply to be part of this special Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) in partnership with the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB), specifically designed for Indigenous-owned businesses.

The Indigenous economy has undergone a period of sustained growth in recent years. According to the 2016 Census, there are over 50,000 self-employed Indigenous Peoples across Canada. There are also over 250 Indigenous economic development corporations, which are community-owned firms designed to generate wealth and jobs for community members. As of 2016, Indigenous Peoples contribute over $30 billion annually to Canada’s GDP.

If you are a First Nations, Métis, or Inuit-owned business, we encourage you to participate in the first-ever Indigenous focused cohort of the Trade Accelerator Program (TAP)!

Listen to what graduates have to say about the program HERE.

What an impressive, effective, well-executed program. Top 3 best I've ever done, and I've done A LOT of courses, workshops and certifications, including my MBA. I'm also formally educated in adult education, train-the-trainer certified and very experienced at facilitation, so I have a deep appreciation for how truly exemplary TAP is."

Monique Hurteau

President and Co-Founder, Through and Thru Films — TAP B.C. Participant

TAP is the rocket fuel that BC companies need to power beyond Canada's borders. The sessions effectively presented export-focused-concepts in the context of how to take action … immediately. Two words: Truly remarkable.

Marla Brock

CEO, Kidcoover Caregivers Inc. — TAP B.C. Graduate

TAP created the environment for us to think harder about decision making and strategic planning. It helped us figure out our priorities, made us focus. It has been a foundational building block for the next 3-5 years on how best to approach export markets.

Oliver Harwood

Owner, Studiostone Creative — TAP B.C. Graduate
