What will you learn by attending?

Hear from an accomplished panel of business and community leaders as they debate and discuss how these very important issues can be addressed.

  • What lessons can be learned from local and international communities successfully addressing issues of affordability and opportunity?
  • How can individuals and companies champion a more inclusive Greater Vancouver community?

About the venue:

Style meets technology: A successful marriage between the old and the new has set the foundation for The Imperial. In addition to its unique design ,the theatre was renovated to include a state-of-the-art sound, lighting and video as well as enough band width to host fully integrated multimedia events.

Originally a Chinese-Language house in the early 70s known as the Golden Harvest, the theatre was a popular destination for watching authentic kung-fu movies.

In 2007, after more than a 2.5 million dollar renovation, Oscar nominated film producer Bill Vince re-opened the doors as District 319. Gutting the old theatre to its foundation, Bill was able to successfully turn the rundown Chinese theatre into one of the coolest boutique theatres in the city, maybe even the country.
