Andrew Jensen

1 in 5 Canadians will experience a form of mental illness at some point in their life. On any given week, more than 500,000 Canadians will not go to work because of mental illness. 2 out of 3 people suffer in silence, fearing judgement and rejection. Talking is the first step towards meaningful change and building greater awareness, acceptance, and action. Join us in demystifying the stigma surrounding mental illness by listening to Andrew Jensen share his story.

Andrew Jensen, professional golfer became a Bell Let's Talk ambassador in 2015 and has since launched "Andrew's Long Drive". Andrew's Long Drive fights stigma by increasing the understanding of how to recognize mental health problems and illnesses. Assembled as a peer support and mentorship strategy, the program empowers Canada's youth with innovative mental health awareness and prevention initiatives. The program took Andrew from coast to coast, giving clinics while also sharing his story of mental health and professional sport.
