Vancouver voters will soon head to the polls to choose the city’s next mayor.

Ahead of the election, the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade provided the business community with a valuable opportunity to hear directly from those running for office, convening five mayoral candidates at "Your City. Your Vote: Meet Vancouver's Mayoral Candidates."

Participating candidates included Vancouver Liberal’s Kareem Allam, Vote Vancouver’s Rebecca Bligh, Green Party of Vancouver’s Pete Fry, TEAM for a Livable Vancouver’s Colleen Hardwick, and ABC’s Ken Sim.

While candidates shared a common focus on issues such as housing affordability, public safety, economic competitiveness, and city governance, they offered distinct approaches and priorities for addressing these challenges.

Watch the video below to learn about each candidates' key priorities, plans, and visions for Vancouver, as well as a Q&A with our President and CEO Bridgitte Anderson.
