GVBOT Welcomes Efforts to Keep Whitecaps in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, B.C. — The Greater Vancouver Board of Trade applauds this morning’s announcement that the City of Vancouver and the Vancouver Whitecaps FC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) giving the ‘Caps a path forward to remain in Vancouver. Bridgitte Anderson, the President and CEO of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, released the following statement:
“This team has represented our city on the national and international stage for generations and ensuring that they have an economically viable path forward to staying in Vancouver is paramount. The 2025 season was incredible, highlighting just how much this team means to Vancouverites, and we are happy to see that the next steps of their journey have been laid out. We look forward to cheering on the ‘Caps and working with them in the years to come.”
