Throughout the year we host a number of forums aimed at moving the dial on emerging areas of public policy.
With content developed by our volunteer public policy committees, these annual forums often feature upwards of a dozen speakers, including elected officials and industry experts from across North America.
Outcomes from these forums often help shape and drive our advocacy efforts at all three levels of government.
Economic Outlook Forum
Now in its 28th year, this annual forum takes a timely look at the year ahead. We gather some of the country's top financial minds and ask them to share their economic forecasts and predictions for Greater Vancouver, British Columbia, and Canada.
This summit provides an opportunity for the business community to discuss the future of our region's transit and transportation networks, and the decisions that will guide our economic growth for the next 25 years and beyond.
Health Care Forum
Industry experts, government officials and business leaders come together to discuss opportunities for improvement and efficiencies in how health care is managed in B.C.
Aboriginal Opportunities Forum
For the past five years, this annual forum has emphasized and explored the critical relationship between aboriginal issues and economic development in B.C.
Focusing on how we can start addressing affordability, in order to keep our region livable and economically competitive.
Each year at our annual Energy Forum, we host a "big-picture conversation" on how B.C. and Canada are currently positioned in global energy markets.
