A major reason for our Programs' success has been the active involvement and commitment of our Members, particularly those who volunteer their time and expertise to the Advisory Committees. Most Members volunteer with a Subcommittee first before being considered for the core Advisory Committee. The following criteria is used to evaluate whether or not an individual is suitable to join:
- Expertise in a given field that is relevant to the respective committee you are interested in applying for
- Willing to provide thought-leadership on program initiatives, work alongside high-performing individuals, and advance program through expertise, time and/or partner engagement
- Must be a current Member of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade and have prior engagement with our Signature Programs
How to apply
Advisory Committee applications are reviewed by the Program Executive Committee and submitted to the Directors of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade who must approve all appointments. Subcommittee applications are reviewed and appointed by the Program Executive Committee.
Applications for the 2022-23 program year have now closed.
